Schools and academic institutions should also create safe spaces where students can discuss their emotional challenges without being judged. Mental health education should be part of academic curriculums, and individual wellness checks should be routinely administered to all students.

It is crucial to take the requisite steps to create a world where adolescents feel safe to express their emotions without fear of judgment.
